In regard to 'Drews'

So I did it.

I went out and fucking DID IT.

I bought a l o n g b o a r d.

I'm still thinking about starting the running again, and hopefully that'll remain. Otherwise, I'm drawing more lately, and hell, Modern Warfare 2 is out in a month, so I seem pretty stable for the next couple of months...

But this longboard dude. Its gonna be AMAZING.

A Sector 9 - Waimea; https://boardmartredding.com/xcart/images/P/1496_sector_9_waimea.jpg

Deck - 38.0" Length x 9.375" Width
Trucks - 9" Gullwing Alpine Trucks
Wheels - 65mm/78a Nineball Wheels
Abec 5 Greaseball Bearings (soon to be UPGRADED)

This is gonna keep me busy for so goddamned long! Its the coolest thing EVAR!

I was looking at it in 2 seasons today, selling at 170 sheets, Im sure Luke would've knocked a tenner or so off... But I got it off t'ebay for a solid £103 (including postage).

ROCK OUT!

I should have been named Jeremy...

Well, maybe.

L'evidence; I am opinionated, probably too much so. I dislike the French, have an ego bigger than it should be, I'm well spoken, a grammar Nazi, and don't really care about a great deal. People like me initially, until they realise that I'm serious. Also, I have a deep seated hate for drug abusers, am far too aggressive in my manner, shout quite a lot, and have a shorter fuse than Russell Crowe...

Other than the cars and appaling clothing, and the whole own TV show thing, I'm quite a lot like ol' Clarkson & Kyle.

I hope I'm wrong about this.

Drews

So after my last, somewhat underwhelming post, I want to write down what (other than Trialbike) I've been up to....

Work, if I'm honest, has been a large portion of the summer. But I'll forego the joys of Building Society matters, and keep you posted on the things which dont make me want to strangle.

In the spare time I have, skating has taken pride of place. Its been a good summer, I lost some weight, leaarned some new tricks and so on. But now its the autumn, its really gonna kick off :)

Most skaters, I've found, dont get that. A lot of people are Summer Skater Steve's. They com out frst in late April, skate for the dry fortnight. Then you'll see them on June & July evenings, shirtless, popping exactly the same shit, off exactly the same ramps, in the exactly same places you saw them doing, exactly the same, last year.
This has been quite a trend in Coventry. And its something I dont particularly appreciate.
The skate scene here, as I'm sure does in other areas, fluctuates throughout the year. Now I appreciate that Skateboarding is not the most popular of 'sports', but these fluctiations leave the scene brimming in the summer, giving high hopes for what should be a steady winter. But because Steve only comes out when he knows that the ramptramps will be watching, it leaves the scene DEAD in the twilight months.

Im writing this because THIS is the beginning of that cycle.
Its October 1st. The cold days are incoming, brandishing weapons like drizzle, christmas shoppers and fucking PUDDLES, and the nice months are fleeing to Oz and Zealand, taking good spots, hot babes and cider with them.

so I need something to do. I've got an xbox, a guitar and internet porn, so I'm covered with entertainment, music and fetish respectively. But what about physical stimulation?
Parkour is a logical idea, considering I have roots in it, and thoroughly enjoy it. But I fell like a fucking PENSIONER when I go out running.
All the locals are about 16 years old, but have an ego to sugests they'd invented the earth by merely taking a shit.

Im bored of this routine yearly cycle. I want something with excitement, nourishment and sustainability.

Something to do during the winter months....

I'ma start BAKING

It was a lovely year...

July eh? Been a while since my last update.
I'd love to report that Ive been incredibly busy and preoccupied with great and important things.

Mostly I've been playing Trialbike in my boxers.

Sorry.
